We had been dreaming of visiting Japan for years, and finally made the trip in March 2017. Every moment we were awake was spent walking, exploring, visiting coffee shops, eating delicious food, and spending time with some great new friends.
We fell in love with Japan. The appreciation for subtlety, the attention to detail, the graciousness and pure kindness of all the people we met. It was really an inspiration, and we can't wait to return.

By 2024, Berlin’s reputation as a cheap place for artists and students has matured into something a little more complex. For visitors, as young people and artists have moved to new parts of the city over the years, this in many ways means there are more fun areas to explore.
If there’s one thing we felt stood out about Berlin, especially as coffee people, it’s the bakery café scene. So many spots we went to for our morning cup had fresh- baked pastries coming from within the same walls. It was really special.
