RECIPE — Peaches & Cream Iced Coffee

A warm peach cobbler in a cup

With peaches in peak season and summer still in full swing, we wanted to create a drink that highlights one of our favorite seasonal fruits.

Perfectly refreshing for a hot summer day, this Peaches n' Cream recipe also appeals to those yearning for fall flavors as the addition of the cinnamon and vanilla is reminiscent of a peach cobbler.

What you'll need

Sauce Pot
Mesh Strainer
Jar or bottle for syrup
Ice

Ingredients

Peach Syrup

3 ripe yellow peaches
3 cups castor sugar
2 cups filtered water
1 cinnamon stick
3 tsp vanilla extract

Coffee Assembly

Peach Syrup
Tache Pistachio Milk (or milk of choice)
Espresso Shot orCanyon Classic Instant

Instructions

Peach Syrup

1. Slice peaches and add them to a pot with remaining ingredients

2. Bring to a boil, stirring to incorporate

3. Reduce heat to low, allow mixture to simmer for 25-30 minutes in order to reduce the mixture into a thick syrup

4. Strain syrup through mesh strainer into a container and save peach slices separately (optional, makes for a sweet addition to a morning granola or can be used to muddle into other drinks)

Coffee Assembly

1. Add ice to a small glass (6-8oz)

2. Add 1oz peach syrup over ice

3. Add cold milk, fill 3/4 of the glass

4. Add 1 oz espresso or 1 oz concentrated Canyon Classic Instant

(optional to add a dash of cinnamon)

5. Stir and enjoy!
