Sunday was all about coffee and community, as we took our treasured morning ritual out into the world to share with friends old and new. We couldn't have asked for a better way to celebrate our launch!
From 9:00AM til 2:00PM, we brewed beans from our very first roast of Chochajau for everyone to try. A couple hundred people stopped in throughout the day, keeping the room buzzing!
In addition to coffee, we were very happy and grateful to feature the crafts and goods of some of our friends. Of course, we were situated in Christy Dawn's beautiful shop; so the space was a blur of color as dresses were tried on and bought. Everyone who bought a dress also received a free bag of Chochajau. Erin Karr (EMK Ceramics) threw 60 beautiful mugs for the occasion, and a good portion of the crowd could be seen drinking coffee from them throughout the day. Spencer Falls (a.k.a. Unthos Fiores & the Unlikely Florist) pulled his vintage van right up outside the store and set up shop selling his beautiful floral arrangements. And our friend Amanda Chantal Bacon brought us some Moon Juice milks and Moon Dust for guests to add to their coffee!
We couldn't have asked for a better launch. Thanks again to everyone who came out and celebrated with us!
