A one-of-a-kind ceramic cup by Peter Shire. Each mug is made by hand in Echo Park Pottery using a slab construction and individually dipped in dark chocolate and orange hues, complimented by a turquoise interior. Completed with a rounded handle.

If you're not familiar with Peter Shire, he's known in the art world as a founding member of the Memphis Group. Peter's art — including sculpture and furniture, in addition to ceramics — has been featured in galleries and exhibits around the world. Part of what we love about Peter's work is his colorful, whimsical and even absurd take on otherwise ordinary utilitarian objects (e.g. chairs, kettles, mugs).
