Just in: our special seasonal coffees bundled into one package. Try our favorite Ethiopian single origins of this season.
Banko Chelchele: This is our first coffee grown by small producers in the Banko Chelchele community. A deliciously clean cup, it showcases a distinct terroir despite being just a few miles away from Danche Chelbesa.
Danche Chelbesa: We had a small amount of this coffee last fall, and it flew off the shelves. We couldn't wait to get it back. SNAP Coffee's meticulous approach to processing yields beautiful results with the anaerobic red honey process.
Banko Chelchele is one of the communities east of Gedeb, part of a greater area known as “Worka”. This dense corner of Gedeb includes farmers that are cooperative-affiliated, as well independent washing stations of various types, many of which are simply named “Chelchele” or, in this case, “Worka Chelchele” after the local municipality itself.
SNAP has worked to improve local coffee washing stations through their meticulous attention to detail. They've been operating the Danche Chelbesa washing station since 2019 — two years after beginning operations at the Worka Chelbesa community washing station nearby.
